Over the last few days since my birthday we have been taking it easy with calories. Last night we had marinated mushrooms and today Morgyn had a salad sandwich. Who says vegetarian meals are boring? Nothing says tasty than hot peppers on a sandwich and sesame oil with shallots! Yum! Here are a few photos!
Adding Presidents Choice Sesame Oil!
This stuff makes everything so good!
Adding spices and shallots!
Here they are! Yum!
Super deluxe Salad Sandwich with Tomato, Hot Peppers, Lettuce, Fresh Dill, Cucumber and Mayo! Oh wow now I’m hungry!

Try this veggie sandwich-
Cream cheese and liberal amounts of cucumbers, red and green pepper slices, raw mushroom slices, avocado slices and garlic sprouts (or lettuce)… Too off with fresh ground pepper. Omg- soooo tasty!
As for marinated mushrooms (YUM!) I will def try them with sesame oil, however, I marinate portobello, white, cremini and shiitake mushrooms in some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, fresh basil and oregano… Stir it up n let them sit in the marinade for like 1/2 hour. Stir them Around every so often… These turn out to have a delicious flavour burst! Totally deeeeelish!
Thanks for the comments Jaclyn!
You have some great ideas!
