We Got Married!

We Got Married!

It was a surreal June 25th weekend. Morgyn and I finally tied the knot! We had a small close knit family wedding at Morgyn’s Moms place. My Auntie and Uncle came down from the East Coast and Morgyn’s daughter and friend were there as well. We had a really nice ceremony followed by a delicious dinner! My Aunt and Uncle brought down a bunch of whole lobsters with them and cooked them to tenderness. We enjoyed the seafood with garlic butter and Morgyn’s Mom made a really tasty red seafood sauce to go with it as well! We had a super good prime rib later that night, that my Uncle seared and prepared before the wedding as Morgyn and I were getting ready. Earlier that day we had a great lunch with Morgyn’s sisters family along with my Aunt and Uncle in Vancouver at a restaurant named Kirin. We enjoyed Dim Sum and wow was it ever good! We especially enjoyed the shrimp dumplings and the Peking Duck. It is so nice to be officially married to Morgyn now as she is my soul mate and best friend and I look forward to every day ahead of us! Thanks to all who made our day as special as it was! In the same weekend we discovered some wild mushrooms in our yard! We ate them as they were Morel mushrooms and wow were they ever tasty! We fried them up and used the left over juices in the pan for some amazing pasta! One of my Passion flower vine seedlings also came up that same weekend and it made us realize that nature was showing us these beautiful things to remind us that there can still be good in the Universe even though sometimes things are unfair like losing our little Eddie. Our Easter dinner was a delicious roast that Morgyn’s Mom made! Morgyn made the Yorkshires and a side of Asparagus that she grilled and wow was it a terrific...
