Making Treats: Butter Tart Squares

I have been wanting to try out some of my new recipes I have found in books and on the internet! Today I got the ingredients and put together some special treats..Butter Tart Squares! They were amazingly easy to make, and I got to try a new technique. Make the crumbly crust, flatten it into the greased pan and put in oven for 15 minutes not fully cooking it. Then you put the mixture on top of the crust and put it back into the oven for another 20 minutes! Isn’t that neat? Probably not if you’ve done this sort of thing before but to me it is neat, since I am new to this baking stuff! I am posting the recipe and a few photos of this baking treat adventure! I thought that we would enjoy Peanut Butter Fingers for dessert after our Smoked Turkey dinner on Saturday. It took me no time to make it and the results were tasty!
