We have been eating well this last week, meals are getting to be back to normal meaning our dinners induce food comas after eating like our first Pulled Pork that we had here! Yes Morgyn set up the big blue drum smoker on our deck and we smoked a pork shoulder all day. Our block must have been wondering what the new ladies were cooking! We shared a plate with our neighbor and she really enjoyed it! This time we made the sauce less sweet and more Italian style with Italian herbs and tomato sauce..it was delicious! Pork Shoulder in the Brine. We left it in the brine over night before smoking it. Here is our big blue drum Smoker! 🙂 Morgyn adding some Hickory wood chips..the puppies are helping! Humble Dog and Mr Dog checking out the smell of the smoker! Mr Dog recently had surgery. He is alright now though! Pork Shoulder after 6 hours on the smoker! Time to take off and finish in the oven! Fun with food never stops in our household! When we have our morning coffee we plan what we are going to eat for the day! We go through our freezer and pick something to thaw for that night for dinner, or the next day, then we look at all the fresh ingredients we have in our fridge and plan out the salsas and cucumber salad type snacks we might snack on during the day! Sometimes we just have sandwiches but other days we use our left overs like this delicious smoked on our own smoker ribs that we made a wonderful Pizza Bread with!
